Lauryn Hill has unleashed ‘Guarding The Gates’ her first solo song in five years.

The track is the critically acclaimed singer’s contribution to the newly released ‘Queen & Slim’ movie soundtrack – which also features the likes of Megan Thee Stallion and Burna Boy.

Performed in earnest over the last four years, today marks the first time a studio version of the mid-tempo has been poured onto streaming and retail platforms.

With fresh material promised from the ever-elusive songstress, will ‘Guarding’ further whet appetites for more from Ms. Hill?
