Warner Music has now named the set as one of the reasons its profits have risen to stellar heights in 2019.
The company’s total revenue rose by 11.9% in fiscal 2019 and saw the company generate 4.475 billion dollars….an amount powered by music sales and streaming. The latter accounted for $2.13 billion.
In a conference call with analysts the label’s CEO Steve Cooper named the hitmakers and songwriters he believes are to thank for the fantastic news and how he is ready to work with platforms like Tik Tok to push the music he is responsible for to new audiences.
Lizzo topped the list.
