Nearly three years after reigning atop the Billboard 200 with her sophomore effort, ‘Hopeless Fountain Kingdom,’ Pop starlet Halsey is looking to be crowned the chart’s champion yet again with her newly released LP, ‘Manic.’
Featuring contributions from the likes of BTS, Suga, Alanis Morissette, and more, the album boasts 16 tracks (including the previously released singles ‘Without Me,’ ‘Clementine,’ ‘Finally // Beautiful Stranger,’ and, ‘You Should Be Sad’).

The title of the album is “manic” as in a the main symptom of mental illness associated with bipolar disorder. So she captured the “read” you’re trying to project perfectly, actually.

I love Halsey, but I think the album is terrible. Graveyard and Without Me are perfect, but the rest is…a mess. Her voice is weak and the songwriting is weak in my opinion. The last album she released was MILES better than this.
Yikes! You should read her question and answer about the album tracks on Twitter. The arrangements the context behind the songs makes sense. I think it’s impressive.
