Little Mix have unleashed new single ‘Break Up Song.’
Rolled out as the lead release from the group’s sixth studio album, the high-octane cut was penned by members Jade, Perrie, and Leigh-Anne alongside hitmaker Kamille and Frank Nobel.
The release is especially notable in that it is one of the first offerings from the ladies new pact with RCA Records, following their acrimonious split from Syco upon the debut of their LP ‘LM5.’
With a lot to prove, do they deliver? Listen below and let us know…
A delicious slice of Synth-Pop bliss!
Laced with catchy hooks, its main chorus is anthemic and ready-made for radio.
While the ladies have always been rooted in Pop, they’ve played with different sounds with largely solid results (as far as singles go).
Yet, arguably missing has been a base sound that has defined a whole project.
As such, we’re hoping this employment of 80s retro is more than a mere flirtation and is instead the anchoring of what will be their sixth studio album.
Because with the likes of Dua Lipa and The Weeknd furnishing their present day bops with an old-skool varnish, there’s no better time than the present for Little Mix to benefit from doing the same.
Not available in my country yet, which this site should notify their viewers of so they don’t spoil it with their own opinions
Heard the full song and I understand why they’re not a thing in American.
Yes, because the american music market is so high level with a C***** rant entering the Charts…
It’s not just America. Out of the major music markets, they are only successful in the UK. France, Germany and Japan don’t want to know either.
And? Where is the problem with being local? Girls aloud were local as well and still a good girl group. With that being said, Germany and France are both quite local musically.
But whatever, I don’t see the Problem with being local. There are a lot of good local musicians and I think little mix are very good (the last Album wasnt though).
That dumb blonde still mad about Zayn dumped her thru the text. ?
You’re stupid, the song is clearly about them leaving their label last fall.
Not everything is on the surface you dumb cûnt ???
This is probably why you think Camilla and Shawn are in a “real” relationship. Too bad there isn’t a cure for being stupid
Some people are too stupid to read between the lines and understand the true meaning behind the lyrics lol. It’s clearly an F you to the old label
U rat, keep shawmila name out of ur mouth
It’s not our fault normani is dating Camila’s left overs.
It’s not our fault slutmani is dating Camila’s hand me downs
??
@clark
1. Shawmila is the ugliest fûcking name. Sounds like a reject drag queen
2. I think it’s funny that you believe I give a damn about normani, just because I don’t f**** with that mountain goat ? singing canola oil
3. You and your momma aka C***** V**** need to go somewhere.
Shawmila have a number one grammy nominated song.
Now cry about it
C***** v**** wouldn’t enter ur body cause ur already dead. ??
Ur mana should have swallowed, what a dumb bìtch
?
A bop!!!! Praying this gets pushed to US radio! I didn’t come to love them until LM5 but now I’m obsessed!!!????
It will get pushed and it will still do nothing. Every album they have released in the US has sold worse than the last one. They can’t even tour here anymore.
Their last few albums have not gotten any push to US radio. The last song they had pushed on US radio was “black magic” and that was 2015. This is an absolute bop and I hope it does well for them!
That’s interesting. I guess I imagined the push to radio for the singles from Glory Days when they were supporting Ariana Grande or for Woman Like Me. Something being rejected by radio is not the same as not being pushed.
Sorry, but They won’t happened in US!!!! Flops are the year!!!! quadruple Flops!!! I know they are so desperate for US dollars tho
They need to split up if not they will continue to flop.
Gil groups are not meant for long term.
The black one with asain features is gonna be the most successful.
I agree. They are just some random lost girls u can find them on the street. While they dream big but they flop hard
