Just three months after raising $128 million for the fight against COVID-19 with the Lady Gaga-curated ‘One World: Together at Home’ special (click here to read more), Global Citizen is looking for a redo by assembling even more of music’s biggest names to come together for the cause.
This time placing focus on communities that are disproportionately impacted by the pandemic (namely people of color, people facing discrimination, and the less fortunate), the event – titled ‘Global Goal: Unite for Our Future – the Concert’ – comes as a partnership with the European Commission and will be globally televised and digitally streamed.
Set to air June 27, look inside to check out some of the big names you can expect to see at the Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson-hosted affair:
“Justin Bieber and Quavo, Miley Cyrus, Chloe x Halle, Shakira and Usher are among the artists who will perform at Global Citizen and the European Commission’s Global Goal: Unite for Our Future—The Concerton 6/27. iHeartMedia and NBC will broadcast the performance in the U.S. on mulltple platforms.
Billy Porter, Charlize Theron and Chris Rock will make appearances as will Forest Whitaker, Hugh Jackman, Ken Jeong, Kerry Washington and others.

The concert follows Global Goal: Unite for Our Future—The Summit and will also be streamed on Apple, Roku, TIDAL, Twitch, Twitter, Yahoo! and YouTube.
The line up is kind of weak so I doubt it will get as many views as Gaga’s. I mean the biggest name they have is Justin Bieber….. yeah….. ratings will be low sorry Global Citizens. Usually your line up be awesome…. not so much this year…. oh well next year maybe
Justin bieber and the others

Usher is a has been?? He’s an icon and legend who’ve sold more albums and have more number 1’s than any male R&B/Pop artist of his generation and afterwards. I guess Stevie Wonder, Al Green, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey and Celin Dion are all has been too huh?? SMDH
