Still reveling in the acclaim afforded their Lifetime biographical film, ‘First Ladies of Gospel’ (click here to read more), the legendary Clark Sisters continue to introduce entries from their five-decade wide prized catalog to new audiences and generations.
The latest bid to do just that came courtesy of a guest appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ Thursday (June 11).
Tapped to perform their hits ‘You Brought the Sunshine,’ ‘Victory,’ and more for the late night show’s summer concert series, look below to see the GRAMMY-winning sisters (sans Twinkie and Jacky) remind us why they’re one of the most revered groups in music history.
Their nearly 20-minute set awaits inside:
Highlights
“Victory” – 00:19
“You Brought the Sunshine” – 2:47
“I’m Still Here” (Dorinda solo) – 6:25
“Balm in Gilead” (Karen solo) – 13:00
I wish they would learn the words to their new songs and perform them! They’ve totally abandoned their new album and its literally one of the best things released this year, not even just gospel. Apparently performing during c**** is not a problem because this is like their 3rd performance.
Yes Masterpiece and Power are my faves from the new album.
“Inside his eyes I’m a one of a kind, special design, I’m a masterpiece!”
