After achieving her second Top 10 single with Sam Smith for their collaboration ‘Dancing With A Stranger,’ the pair was set to perform the song at last year’s BMAs. Unfortunately, the performance was cancelled due to Smith’s illness.
However, fans of the 24-year-old can rejoice as new footage from the performance has recently been shared online. The video shows the former Fifth Harmony member warring up her silky vocals and delivering insane choreography.
In the clip she says:
“I’m excited. I’m a little nervous and I’m very sore. It’s gonna be iconic.”
Oh what could have been.
Still, ‘Dancing With a Stranger’ was the R&B singer’s second Top 10 hit. She previously reached the Top 10 with her song ‘Love Lies’ featuring Khalid. Then in 2019 she released her first solo single, ‘Motivation,’ which helped continue the anticipation for her debut album. A set the masses are still buzzed about.
