As reported, the singer’s eighth studio effort was on-course to premiere with the year’s biggest sales launch.
But now it looks like it’ll open with a more seismic sum than first thought.

Initial data, saw the LP – which was announced a moment’s notice – trending towards a 650,000 start in the States.
However, Hits Daily Double have updated the projection by stating that Swift will power past 700k with ease.
Beyond the excitement generated by the superstar’s surprise announcement, ‘Folklore’ benefits from a number of sales configurations – including CDs, cassettes and limited edition vinyls (of which there are eight available covers).
Clearly, the hype and savvy retail strategy are paying off handsomely.
