The rumor mill’s been proven right again.
As impatient Cardi B fans began to wonder what the hold up for her highly anticipated sophomore album was, some began to piece together clues the GRAMMY winner was collaborating with Megan Thee Stallion.
Lo and behold, not long after teasing ‘she had an announcement’ (as we reported here), the ‘Press’ performer finds herself getting just that after unveiling news her new single – ‘Wap’ – featured none other than the ‘Savage‘ star herself.
Details inside:
Stallion took to her social media platforms to echo news the new tune would arrive at digital retailers Friday, August 7.
The report comes as little surprise to some who were first clued by B’s updated web site two weeks ago (click here to read more about that),
‘Wap’ will come as Cardi’s first official single release as a leading act since ‘Press’ dropped over a year ago. For Stallion, the tune follows a string of successful releases including chart-topper ‘Savage’ and its top 40 follow-up, ‘Girls in the Hood.’
