6ix9ine Compares His Child Sexual Misconduct Conviction To Tupac’s Rape Case: ‘There’s No Difference’

Published: Wednesday 2nd Sep 2020 by Rashad

When not being panned for snitching cooperating with federal law enforcement agents to expose the alleged criminal activity of some of his colleagues, 6ix9ine is dodging criticism for some of his controversial commentary.

No stranger to ruffling the feathers of fellow rappers like Megan Thee Stallion, Future, Meek Mill, Doja Cat, and more (as we reported here), the emcee (born Daniel Hernandez) is certainly keeping momentum in that arena going full throttle thanks a recent statement that saw him compared himself to the late, great Tupac Shakur.

In his first official interview since being released from prison earlier this year, look inside to see exactly what he said:

Over two years after proclaiming himself to be ‘the next Tupac’ (click here to read more on that), Hernandez took to ‘The New York Times’ to compare his past sexual misconduct charges to that of the late legendary rapper’s.

“Tupac Shakur was convicted of rape. Is Tupac Shakur loved or hated? Loved! What’s the difference between me and Tupac Shakur? I never caught a rape charge — ever,” he said. “You’re telling me he gave back through his art? You’re lying to me. I got to feed what, in 2020, is relevant. I got to feed the masses. There’s no difference between me and Tupac Shakur.”

Unlike Shakur (who was convicted of sexual felony abuse in 1994), 6ix9ine’s case involved a minor and he plead guilty to use of a child in a sexual performance in 2015.  In reference to that guilty plea, he told ‘The New York Times.’

“I was at the wrong place at the wrong time,” he said, making sure to mention that he is not a “40-year-old Jeffrey Epstein-type.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, the ‘TROLLZ’ hitmaker discussed the fallout that followed his infamous ‘snitching.’

“Before I broke the street code, how many times was it broken to me? ‘It’s all about honor, loyalty.’ Well, let’s talk about if sleeping with somebody’s girl is honor, kidnapping somebody is honor, stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from them is honor, trying to kill them is honor. ‘Snitching’s not street!’ But street is taking advantage of one of your homies?” he said.

He suggests he feels like he’s done enough to make up for the betrayal, however.

“No other celebrity gives back as much as Daniel Hernandez,” he said. “What society is trying to do is have me crawl into a corner and say, you know what, I hate myself. I will never hate myself. I love everything I’ve been through and I will never take it back. I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever regret the lessons I learned in life, because they made me into an animal, made me into a beast. I can go through anything.”
