The Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez drama continues.
Following the release of Lanez’s ‘Daystar’ project, Megan Thee Stallion’s lawyer has insisted that he is launching a “smear campaign” against her.

Variety reports that her attorney, Alex Spiro, said that Lanez’s team is constructing a narrative against the her after she accused Lanez of shooting her in the foot.
“We have been made aware of manipulated text messages and invented email accounts that have been disseminated to the media in a calculated attempt to peddle a false narrative about the events that occurred on July the 12. A smear campaign can’t change the truth.”
The Canadian rapper spends most of his time on ‘Daystar’ addressing the shooting that took place on July 12 that left Megan hospitalized with gunshot wounds in both of her feet.
A representative for Lanez denied the accusations made by Megan’s lawyer, saying:
“A representative of Tory strongly denies sending emails or otherwise creating a false narrative. The only commentary which has been made on this topic was the creative output on the album. We are investigating who could be sending these false emails and intend to take action against them.”
Sources have alleged that Lanez told Megan to “Dance, b*tch” before he fired at her feet. After the incident, he then allegedly apologized to her through text message and offered her money to cover up the truth of the incident.
