Camila Cabello fans – affectionately called #Camilizers – will be head over heels for the latest ‘Romance’ news.
The singer’s solo sophomore set, which arrived in December 2019, powered to Platinum heights in the United States on the wings of her second Hot 100 chart-topper, ‘Senorita’ (with boyfriend Shawn Mendes), as well as her own ‘Shameless,’ ‘Living Proof,’ ‘Liar,’ and ‘My Oh My (featuring DaBaby).‘
Related to latter two, the Recording Industry of America (RIAA) has announced updates regarding their certification status.

Each may boast a cinematic, Dave Meyers-directed accompanying music video (to critical acclaim), but ‘Liar’ and ‘My Oh My’ did not share similar commercial responses. The former stalled at #52 on the Hot 100 while its DaBaby-assisted successor peaked right outside the tally’s top 10 – a feat assisted by domination at Pop Radio (as we reported here).
Despite their varied successes on the chart, streaming and sales interests have apparently remained a constant as the RIAA has confirmed the tunes have respectively crossed new certification thresholds. ‘Liar’ is now Platinum, a measure that denotes the sales equivalence of 1 million units in the United States, while ‘My Oh My’ is double Platinum (marking 2 million units sold in the same territory).
With ‘Liar’s recent update, Cabello’s collected 8 songs that have been certified Platinum or higher since the start of her solo career just 3 years ago.
Her highest achievement with the RIAA remains her breakout hit, ‘Havana,’ which currently hovers near Diamond status (denoting sales equivalence of 10 million units in the U.S.).
