Initial forecasts had the surprise LP on-course to premiere atop of the tally with 150,000-160,000 units sold.
However, it appears his momentum has ceased. For, a new update has the set trending towards a 40,000-50,000 start on the chart.
With those numbers (which represents a 66% dip on the first prediction), it now means 6ix9ine is out of the running for the #1 spot.
The controversial rapper cedes that slot to Big Sean – whose ‘Detroit 2’ is now eyeing pole position with sales of 100-110k.
The news comes after 6ix9ine took aim at streaming services for not – as he put it – adequately supporting his project.
