R.Kelly is ‘suffering’ mentally behind bars according to his lawyer, just months before his trial begins.

According to Billboard, a federal judge has ordered a start date for Kelly’s trial, with jury selection to begin April 6th 2021 and the trial itself kicking off the following day.
The musician was arrested in the city of Chicago in July 2019, where has been behind bars since.
He has requested to leave the penitentiary on his own recognizance, but has reportedly been denied.
The ‘Ignition‘ singer is facing charges of racketeering, coercion of a minor and coercion to engage in illegal sexual activity regarding six different victims. Furthermore, he also awaits trial in Illinois for separate sexual assault allegations.
Speaking of the Kelly’s wellbeing, his lawyer states:
“In terms of his mental well-being, I think he’s suffering under these COVID conditions because they had an enormous outbreak previously. It’s not a good environment to be in.”
He goes on to add, however:
“It’s been long and onerous, but on the other hand I think he is eager to get to trial.”

Right I agree, people kills me always want to put all the blame on R.Kelly, however there’s plenty of blame to be distributed equally, people want to judge him based on a paid documentary!!!!!

I am certain he is not the only prisoner that has concerns. If he had not done the things that he did he would not be in this situation. He is where he needs to be for years to come. People that have money feel as though they are above the law. R. kelly knows that he did everything he is being accused of. If you dance to the music, you have to pay to the piper .
