Nicki Minaj Extends Record As Most #AMAs-Awarded Female Rapper in History

Since 2015, Nicki Minaj has ruled as the Rap Queen of the American Music Awards courtesy of her career collection of 6 of the event’s prism-shaped trophies.

Going into the show’s 48th annual ceremony (which aired live on November 22), the 37-year-old stood to either extend that reign as she was nominated in two categories or be unseated by longtime nemesis/4x AMA winner Cardi B as the ‘I Like It’
