Mariah Carey has unwrapped the hotly anticipated remix of ‘Oh Santa’ featuring Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson.
The trio’s reworking of Mimi’s festive number serves as one of the centerpieces of the diva’s new Apple TV+ special ‘Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas’ – which premieres today on the streamer.
‘Santa’ is also being rolled out as the first taste of an accompanying soundtrack, due this week on Apple Music and December 11 everywhere else.

Their vocals blended nicely, but seeing them side by side is a little strange to me.
Mainly cuz Mariah’s dress is so out of place. It doesn’t fit the set, the other women, or the song. It annoys me lol.
This came together very well. Each woman did their thing. Also Mariah’s Christmas special on Apple TV + was put together nicely as well. To be honest I think that the Apple special should be made into a Broadway production.

I really don’t understand why after all these years and achievements people are still trying to discredit Mariah’s legacy… and Whitney’s.
Except Mariah has nodules to thank for her low tones. Ari’s tessitura is naturally higher – not due to some birth defect. Plus, Mariah used to smoke and that boosts chest voice – an effect implants enhance. Ariana lost her chest voice after going vegan and skinny. We have brownish fat around our necks and diaphragms to lube the latter and pad up the sound at neck level; by losing too much weight, Ariana dried up hers … hence the acidic chest support.
I think it was GREAT. Jhud obviously held back and Ari did too. But all ladies had their moments to shine. Its a 10 for me.
