On November 30, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) updated its logs to reveal ‘Medicine’ – Naija’s 2017 breakthrough single – has met the organization’s threshold to be certified 2x Platinum, meaning it’s sold 2 million copies in the United States.
The certification upgrade comes as the first of such for the R&B songstress.
Found aboard her self-titled 2018 EP, ‘Medicine’ – which peaked at #1 on the Adult R&B charts at the height of its popularity and remains her highest peaking hit on the Hot 100 to date (#45) – also holds the honor of being her first Platinum hit.
