Here’s good news for ‘Good Days’; the latest single from R&B diva SZA.
While her comeback tune, ‘Hit Different,’ didn’t exactly prove itself the hit needed to amplify buzz for her long-awaited sophomore album, the tune’s successor – ‘Good Days’ – is definitely a hitting (the charts) differently.
As if blasting to the top of Spotify and real-time R&B sales tallies wasn’t enough (as we reported here), the song cracked the Hot 100’s top 40 last week, marking the eighth visit of her career to the chart region.
This week, the song’s cracked the top 30 thanks to a 15-spot leap credited to a handsome mix of digital downloads, airplay at R&B radio, and streams.

Ahead of the premiere of its official music video, ‘Good Days’ has become one of SZA’s best performers on the Hot 100 ever.
Printed at #23 on the refreshed chart, the positioning comes as the highest solo placement of her career to date – besting the previous title holder, 2017’s ‘The Weekend’ (which peaked at #29).
Her overall highest rung reached on the Hot 100 is the #7 peak of 2018’s ‘All the Stars’ (on which she shares top billing with GRAMMY winning rapper Kendrick Lamar).
