Jazmine Sullivan is being showered with praise following the release of her new EP ‘Heaux Tales.’
Serving as the songbird’s first body of work in five years, the freshly hatched concept project has received love from critics and fans alike – including a number of notable names.
‘Insecure’ creator and lead star Issa Rae has been one of many raving about the set and now she looks poised to help bring its lyrics to life visually.

It all began when Jazmine tweeted:
“What I would love is if me and @IssaRae did a heauxtales short film and I’d add a few extra songs. But I could just be dreaming. Nvm me.. I’m crazy”
It didn’t take long for Rae to respond. And it looks like she’s ready to roll. She said:
“Jazmine. Say the f*ck less.”
Like most watching the exchange, Sullivan couldn’t contain her excitement. For, she gushed:
“I’m literally bout to cry dawg. I’m bout to text u!”
