Today it was announced that actor Tom Hanks will preside over the US telecast as host.
Elsewhere, musical guests will include Justin Timberlake, Demi Lovato, Bon Jovi, and Ant Clemons.
Additional names are expected to be announced imminently.
Christened ‘Celebrating America,’ the special – which will also broadcast Kamala Harris‘ historic inauguration as Vice President – will air almost everywhere.
For, starting at 8:30 p.m. ET, viewers will be able to tune in via ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC and CNN.
Streaming viewing will come courtesy of Amazon Prime Video, Microsoft Bing, NewsNOW from Fox, and AT&T DIRECTV and U-verse as well as the Presidential social feeds.
