Great interview! Michelle possesses a warmth and authenticity that is magnetic.
The ‘Checking In’ podcast premieres new episodes each Tuesday on the Black Effect Network.
Michelle’s book, ‘Checking In,’ arrives May 25.
great interview. i love that she’s initiating these kinds of conversations!
It bothers me that LeToya Luckett started “the check in” on instagram at the start of the pandemic. She did it to see how fans were handling things, to bring them on and chat with them, etc. Months later, Michelle comes out with this book then starts doing the same thing on Instagram LIVE. She even has the same caption. Totally unoriginal and weird to be copying like that.
It’s not that deep.
It really is though. If that was someone else stealing someone’s work, I’m sure you’d think otherwise. I went and looked for myself. It checks out.
It’s really not that deep. It’s called checking in as a play in words when Michelle had to check in for mental health and she had decided the title of the book in 2018. Book has been written for a while. So let it go and get your facts straight.
Thank you!!! 😊
