Britney Spears‘ battle to remove her father, Jamie Spears, as her conservator continues.
However, there has been a promising update on her behalf.

After Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny denied the singer’s petition to have her father removed as conservator last year, she appointed Bessemer Trust as a co-conservator along with Jamie Spears.
Objections were raised by Vivian Thoreen, Jamie’s attorney, on how the co-conservatorship would be delegated were rejected, according to NBC.
Thoreen went on to argue that Jamie should have the power to delegate investment powers, a request that was also denied.
Now, both Jamie and Bessemer Trust are expected to work together to on a budget investment proposal for the Pop star’s estate.
Thoreen said in a statement:
“My client looks forward to working with Bessemer to continue an investment strategy in the best interests of his daughter.”
“My client Jamie Spears has diligently and professionally carried out his duties as one of Britney’s conservators, and his love for his daughter and dedication to protecting her is clearly apparent to the court.”
Another hearing is set for next month.
