Tinashe is back with new music.
However, this time, the singer put her own spin on Chaka Khan‘s classic ‘I’m Every Woman.’
First made popular by Khan on her debut album ‘Chaka’ in 1978, the song was later popularized by Whitney Houston in the ’90s as part of ‘The Bodyguard’ soundtrack.
Now, Tinashe is taking the reigns and makes it her own by incorporating funk and disco alongside house beats.
The updated version of ‘I’m Every Woman’ is part of ESPN‘s second installment of their ‘Music For The Movement’ series.

Nah… this version is weak as trashy bish 👵🏿. Keep dragging that dog collar of yours 🐕
Yasssss drag that 4 legged mangy Trashy BISH! Drag it to the local pound! 💂♀️
No
..it’s a nice rhythm
Wow, admittedly, i went in thinking, “what would possess her to sing this song”, but once I listened, I was like, “hell yeah!”
Will definitely use this for the runway of my next fashion show
I was a little skeptical at first but after listening to it…well done. Love the House vibe and she very well executed vocal wise. Good job. 👏🏾 Tinashe
I wish Sewer Queen would stop talking to herself ☕️ 😂 👀 I’m always right! 🤳🏽 Stay corny and ugly with no flavor too! 🤣
If someone has to keep talking about flavor, I guess it’s because they don’t have any. You could never do what I do, be what I am or have what I have 💯
Rihanna’s voice when she eats?
Just no Tinashe! I respect her as an artist but as an extreme fan of the song ESPECIALLY Whitney’s version how you gonna come behind her and Chaka. Like ok she changed the beat to make it her own but vocally this is EXTREMELY lackluster. All this made me do was want to go on and turn on Chaka or Whitney! No ma’am sis this ain’t it!
