Kanye West has found himself in some hot water.
For, The Sun reports that the ‘Stronger’ rapper is being sued by 800 performers and backstage crew members who claim they were mistreated or not paid for his Sunday Service shows.

One of the plaintiffs in the suit, Raina Leon, claims that she had to wait four months to receive her check for $550 (minus a $20 wiring fee).
Additionally, the suit also pertains to West’s production of ‘Nebuchadnezzar’ at The Hollywood Bowl in 2019. The performance allegedly violated California’s labor laws by not paying employees on time or ever and denying overtime, meal, and bathroom breaks.
Lawyers believe that the lawsuit could reach upwards of 1000 people. A legal source told The Sun:
“They’ve got hundreds of people on board already, but they’re talking to many, many others, who want to be a part of it. People are very upset how they were treated, saying it’s their worst experience. Now it’s about proving that Kanye is the employer and the buck stops with him. Now that there’s others coming forward, then the complaint will be amended and be bigger in scope.”
A source went on to clarify:
“No one knows how involved Kanye himself was, if he knew what was going on, as it was all so last minute, it was terribly ran. Whether it was mismanagement, accidental, or on purpose, this is a very strong case.”
West could end up paying $1 million per suit or $30 million if he contests.
This is just the latest in his legal drama, as he is also preparing for a potential divorce from reality star Kim Kardashian.
