On what fans can expect, she said:
“There’s a lot of honesty in there, because obviously I’ve lived a lot of life that people want to know about.”
As for the tone of the music, she said:
“I’ve always been controversial without being offensive. I like to stand on the edge but not fall off. I like to bleed out and make people stand in the middle of their f***ing sh**, good and bad, as I do that for myself.”
On if the project can top her ‘Who You Are’ album, she said:
“The challenge of beating that is the hardest thing. And I haven’t. ‘Bang Bang’ nearly got there. ‘I can hang out with you at a party,’ these songs can say to the old songs.”
On when her fifth album could be released, she hinted it will arrive before fall:
“These songs are not for a turtleneck, you know what I’m saying?”
The untitled project will serve as the follow-up to Jessie’s 2018 album ‘R.O.S.E.’
We certainly are buzzed. How about you?
