Megan Thee Stallion isn’t holding back.
After winning three GRAMMY Awards on March 14, she ran into TMZ when leaving an afterparty. When asked if her wins were pre-meditated, she did not mince words.
Her words below…
“No, the Grammys ain’t rigged. B***h, you win some, you lose some.”
Meg made history Sunday night when she became the first female rapper since Lauryn Hill to win the Best New Artist award (as we reported here). She also took home trophies for Best Rap Song and Bes Rap Performance, becoming the first female winner in both categories. The latter two were for her ‘Savage (Remix),’ which featured Beyoncé.
Other artists were not as lucky. The Weeknd revealed he would not be submitting any more of his work after being shut out of the nominations.
When asked about the situation the ‘Body’ rapper said:
“We love The Weeknd. We stan.”
