Chloe Bailey is taking center stage.
For, the Chloe x Halle member is making her solo concert debut on ‘Good Morning America’s 2021 Summer Concert Series.

The news program announced the full roster of talent set to grace the stage this summer, which includes Bailey on June 21.
She has been making a name for herself over the last couple of months, as she has shared notable covers – recently Rihanna‘s ‘Love On The Brain’ (stream it here) – and even teased new solo music coming (as we reported here).
Before Bailey takes the stage, BTS will be kicking off the concert series on May 28. Other notable names include Bebe Rexha, Tinashe, Maluma, and Ne-Yo.

As much as I love my little Chlo-Chlo…I don’t think she’s read for a full on solo venture just yet. Chloe x Halle JUST began to pop and finally arrive on the scene. We barely got the dessert that was after the amazing serving that was the ungodly hour let on a full meal so this is going to be interesting to watch play out because not many people know of her still and secondly, more development is definitely needed for her and her sister. Chloe x Halle would have been an amazing vehicle for that development until the time was REALLY right for solo careers. Diana Ross, Beyoncé were only as successful as they were due to the big boost of being apart of group for so long and being pushed to the forefront to prepare people of what was next to come for them. Another example of what I say about Chloe is Danity Kane and all the 5th harmony girls. Not one of them were ready before their time and it proved itself true too years later. Some people are JUST figuring out dawn was from MTB. My friend said to me he thought I was referring to the soap Dawn when I said she had a release coming out last month lmao.
I might agree with this assessment for Chloe. I think people just keep sleeping on Dawn. She has done some interesting stuff even within the low-budgetness of it all. BUT…it’s not unprecedented to test the waters. If it catches fire, great. If not, she can use it as momentum for the next CXH project and try again later. Either way, I’m lowkey excited to see what Chloe will bring.

Neither of them are ready. Specifically, adlibing live, they have to work on fitting those notes in the pockets of a four count. These girls got it, but not yet. And Chloe has to slow down – she’s doing a lot when she doesn’t have to.

They’re still a group just Halle is currently filming the Little Mermaid and Chloe will be doing solo music in the meantime! I think it’s good they are branching out finding their own identities and then coming back together as a group. That way with their 3rd album it would be a lil more fresh and they can bring their different experiences and gel something sonically dope.
