Snoop Dogg has shown the potency of his bark and bite on the charts for three decades.

Now, it looks like he may be on the way to doing the same in the boardroom.

According to Hits Daily Double, the volume is being turned up on “persistent” murmurs that Snoop is being lined up for “some kind of senior position” at Def Jam Records.

It goes without saying that Snoop comes with a wealth of knowledge from his lengthy career as an artist and has navigated the industry’s many shape-shifts.

How he’s able to parlay that into a backend role in shaping the next crop of stars will be interesting to see.

The news comes on the heels of it being revealed that the rapper had joined The Voice as a “mega mentor.”
