‘Not a Little Bit’ beauty K. Michelle got herself in a little hot water recently when she took to social media to suggest she supported Caitlyn Jenner‘s run for California governor.
The Olympic athlete-turned-reality-star announced her bid for office just two months ago, a shocking revelation that’s been met with a variety responses given the 71-year-old’s controversial stance on a number of issues – namely LGBT rights (despite identifying as transgender herself).
Most recently dropping jaws for her very public opposition against how people of trans experience participating in sports (as seen above courtesy of TMZ), Jenner’s divisive viewpoint may be earning its share of detractors…but it’s also earning fans.
Just ask award-winning singer-songwriter K. Michelle, who took to Twitter Sunday (June 27) to declare her appreciation of the gubernatorial hopeful.
Needless to say, her comment drew criticism.
As the commentary heated up, Michelle chimed in to clarify she supported Jenner as a person but not as a political candidate.
Catilyn doesn’t even know who she is.. she was against gay rights until she saw how the other Republicans were acting then she was for it. K Michelle knows exactly what she is doing.
