BTS may be dominating world music charts with their energetic brand of K-Pop, but the Korean septet is no stranger to experimenting with other genres in live performances.
Jimin, Jungkook, V, Suga, Jin, RM and J-Hope hit BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge recently to give their historic Hot 100 #1 hits, ‘Dynamite’ and ‘Permission to Dance,’ yet another showcase – this time for audiences across the pond. While there, they surprised viewers with a stunning take on Diddy aka Puff Daddy‘s chart-topping tribute to Notorious B.I.G. – 1997’s ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ (which features Faith Evans & 112).
Curious to see how they fared on the GRAMMY-winning classic? Hop inside to see:
this was so damn awful.
i just don’t get their hype. They murdered this song, chile.
SCREAMING 🤣
This was f***** horrible, they should be charged
Couldn’t get past 2 minutes… there’s like no emotion in how they sing this. I love Faith Evans’ voice on the original.
A prime example why classics shouldn’t be touched .
BTS (in my views are entirely overrated ) and sound dreadful on this track.
How y’all got 7 singers with a two part harmony
That’s crazy
Missing u is sampled the police’s every breathe you take. Smh…. TGJ didn’t even mention it.
💯💋
If a Black rapper sang the Korean national anthem, would it be cute?
Or would they drag us calling us primates and saying we butchered it?
Why did they have to redo this in Korean? Makes me think they slipped in the n-word.
