Cop a gander at Young Thug!
Born Jeffery Lamar Williams, the 29-year-old – with 19 mixtapes, three EPs, and two compilation albums to his credit to date – surprises many with news he is finally readying the release of his sophomore album, ‘Punk.’ That’s no small task given the gargantuan success of ‘Slime & B,’ his 2020 joint mixtape with Chris Brown.
Set for October 15 release, promo for ‘Punk’ will undoubtedly see Williams all over screens, radio, and Web in its support. The most notable of said ventures to date is undoubtedly a head-turning spread in the digital edition of ‘Rolling Stone’ magazine.

When not dropping jaws with the colorful collage of photos snapped by Jackie Nickerson, Thug will undoubtedly send fans into a frenzy with quotes about his long-awaited second studio album.
“With Punk I tapped into more real world,” he says. “I’m just rapping more about life situations, because I had time to sit down and actually reflect and think.”
