‘End of An Era’
Release Date: August 13, 2021
Despite the critical acclaim afforded to ‘I Am the Strip Club,’ ‘Brazil,’ and ‘Sip It’ – the first three singles from Azalea’s third studio album ‘Era’ – the GRAMMY nominee disappointed fans in July with news she had plans on taking an extended hiatus from music once she wrapped promotion of the project. Said promotion also includes a guest spot on a Stateside tour alongside fellow rapper Pitbull, which kicks off August 20.
Taking to social media Monday (August 2), the femcee confirmed ‘Era’ would drop just seven days before the tour launch – landing on digital shelves August 13.
The set’s official cover artwork and tracklist (with features) is set to drop any day this week. ‘End of An Era’ comes two years after the rapstress’s sophomore effort – 2019’s ‘In My Defense’ (which peaked at #52 on the Billboard 200).
