Just hours after Ari Lennox introduced fans to the Jermaine Dupri, Bryan-Michael Cox, and Johnta Austin-penned and produced ‘Pressure,’ the singer unveils its retro-inspired music video.
The first single from her yet-titled sophomore album (the follow-up to 2019’s critically acclaimed ‘Shea Butter Baby’), ‘Pressure’ sees Lennox lay it on thick with her bedroom fantasy requests. When not paying homage to the likes of major divas Donna Summer, Diana Ross, and more in the clip, Ari is letting it be known exactly what kind of pressure she expects from would-be lovers.

Flop like f*******
I know, right! 💯
She deserves her moment.
Undeniably talented
Damn this was good! And the song is HOT! Even though it’ll probably be reduce to throwback R&B or AC stations, she better promote this and build social media awareness. One thing about the new R&B girls, they want Pop budget videos AND THEU DESERVE IT❗
They really don’t.
Ugly flop like Normani and Chlöe
Word 💯
cute video and song, but very forgettable.
Like you then.
Miss Keri Baaaaby did it first.
Beauty Ari Lenox Another melanin queen on horsemillas fat neck! 🤣
I like the rhythm (feel) of the song as well as the word play. It reminds of the days of Motown when female singing groups would play with words to convey s3xual undertones without being raunchy.
Hun Motown Women never made songs about a man pushing inside them.
