Travis Scott made headlines the world over today after a stampede at the third annual Astroworld Festival resulted in multiple deaths.
Now, with the second day of the Houston festival canceled in the wake of the tragedy, Scott has issued an emotional statement.
His words below…
Taking to social media, the ‘Sicko Mode’ rapper wrote:
“I’m absolutely devastated by what took place last night,” Scott tweeted. “My prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival.
Houston PD has my total support as they continue to look into the tragic loss of life. I am committed to working together with the Houston community to heal and support the families in need. Thank you Houston PD, Fire Department and NRG Park for their immediate response and support.
Love you all.”
Our thoughts and prayers are with all affected by the tragedy.
