On this week’s edition of the coveted count, Mimi nabs a second a week at #1 during what is the track’s historic third overall run in pole position.
The song, which was first released in 1994 and resides on Carey’s ‘Merry Christmas’ album, managed the feat with the following stats in the latest tracking week:
- 47.5 million US streams
- 32 million radio airplay audience impressions
- 8,100 digital downloads
No stranger to breaking records, Carey’s #1 this week sees her cross a number of major milestones. For, ‘All I Want’:
- Becomes the first song to reign at #1 as late as its 50th (overall) week on the Hot 100.
- Extends its status as the longest span from a song’s first week at #1 on the Hot 100 to its latest: two years and 11 days (Dec. 21, 2019-Jan. 1, 2022).
- Also extends Mimi’s record for having the longest timeframe between her first and latest #1 on the Hot 100. For, it has been 31 years and five months since her debut single ‘Vision of Love’ topped the tally.
- Sees the diva’s record-extended for nabbing #1s on the Hot 100 in 18 distinct years: 1990-2000, 2005-06, 2008, and now 2019-22 thanks to this holiday classic.
- Gifts Carey her 86th week at #1 (overall) on the Hot 100 – extending her record for the most weeks at the top.
