Case in point, the New Zealand songstress is the latest artist to cover ES Magazine.
The pictures were shot by famed photographer Quil Lemons. In the shoot, Lorde is seen mostly in red, rocking some daring looks, and new trends.
Her cover of ES Magazine comes after she released her highly-anticipated ‘Solar Power’ album earlier this year. The set produced the singles: ‘Mood Ring,’ ‘Fallen Fruit,’ ‘Stoned At The Nail Salon,’ as well as the title track.

Sizzles, as in a piece of overcooked burnt bacon? She is hideous, and her music is awful.
Love Lorde so much! One of the only people left with a natural face that she can actually move. Love her unique look and voice. She’s an excellent lyricist as well. Everyone goes on about Taylor Swift’s dumb Hallmark card rhymes, but Lorde is the true poet. I hope she doesn’t chase popularity and goes the Björk route, because she has potential to actually be a respected, true artist.
