Monica fans may be anxiously awaiting updates about her new album, ‘Trenches’ (originally due earlier this year), but the GRAMMY-winning diva isn’t leaving them hanging in wait for new music overall.
Teaming with rapper Yung Bleu, Mo can be heard playing assistant on the rising star’s latest release, ‘Family Feud.’
Found aboard his recently released, 5-song EP, ‘No, I’m Not Ok,’ the tune tells the tale of how familial disapproval can negatively impact romantic relationships.
“And I know your daddy don’t like me / Your mama wanna fight me / Your sister don’t trust me, oh no / And I think your brother be hatin’ / Your auntie’s impatient / She wants me to marry you,” Bleu croons on the Cut&Dry-produced cut.
Hear it in full inside;
This ain’t Monica, this is Goonica…
Y’all gonna have to think of different words then “croons” – it’s literally the word to give action in every post. Please stop. He’s a rapper. Mumbling. To a generic beat. Nobody will ever hear this song. It ain’t that deep. It’s trash. Keep it.
