Ariana Grande and Kelly Clarkson are doing some friendly competition.
For, the two vocal powerhouses faced off in a taste of the new variety game show ‘That’s My Jam,’ where they sang various songs.
Fittingly, their category was “Pop Divas.” Grande kicked the segment – hosted by Jimmy Fallon – with her rendition of Britney Spears‘ ‘Oops! … I Did It Again’ while Clarkson started things off with Shania Twain‘s ‘Any Man Of Mine.’
The two then traded songs by such artists as Whitney Houston, Alanis Morissette, and Cher.
What are you waiting for? Watch Clarkson and Grande go head-to-head just below…

Chile and ppl had the nerve to say Ariana can’t sing. What a joke. Ariana is easily and by far the greatest vocalist among these new girls.
Never. Thatd be JoJo without question. JoJo not only sings with greater technical proficiency (objective) but with better musicianship and emotive flair (subjective)
I love Ari and JoJo and I have had the honor of seeing them both live within the last two years and I’ll say this. I love both women with all my heart both of their WHOLE careers but if I had to say who’s vocals really really took me away being in the same room was definitely Ariana. I’ve even seen Beyonce 3 times and as amazing as she is her vocals didn’t send me to heaven in contrast to Ari. Hearing Ariana live (being in the same room not YouTube videos) truly is otherworldly like you can’t even believe you’re hearing it. Because she’s not so calculated. You can feel she sings with feelings and so every adlibs and run is never the same night after the night. Whereas the other girls as great as they sound you can tell most of the time they are singing the notes to the T the way they rehearsed. That’s what I mean but not calculated. She rehearses but leaves room to just freestyle through feeling and in the moment. Both women are amazing vocally. JoJo has more of the Urban R&B voice which sets her apart from everyone as a white woman and she sounds amazing too so no one loses in this. I’m just saying from a live perspective as a person who has watched both vocally NO ONE has topped Ariana FOR ME as of right now.
Thats all well and good Ace Blanks, youre entitled to that opinion and youve explained why you feel that way and thats cool, but thats all subjective. How you respond and connect to someones vocals is determined by your life experiences and your personality, its all individual to you and isnt fact based or objective. When judging from objective parameters such as technique, Jojo blows Ariana away
