Years from its onset, the Azealia Banks and Kanye West saga continues.
From claims she wanted to date him to suggesting he was a closeted gay man who stole her ideas (as we reported here), her outlook on the Rap genius seems to sway wherever the wind blows. And while he has not publicly responded to her many verbal jabs, West remains the center of Azealia’s attention – as evidenced by a series of posts on the femcee’s social media recently.
As his fans know, Kanye is reportedly hard-at-work on the sequel to his 2021 album, ‘Donda,’ a project that – according to Banks – almost featured her fiery vocals.
Hop inside to read why she’s now saying it won’t.
As reports of ‘Donda 2’ featured acts come flooding in (i.e. The Game, MoneyBagg Yo, etc.), the ‘Ice Princess’ rapstress is saying she gave West the cold shoulder when he allegedly reached out to enlist her.
“Just turned down a Kanye collab request twice in one week,” said Azealia on Instagram earlier this week. “He’s like officially useless garbage on his own.”
Comparing him to Doja Cat (who Banks previously said ‘made music for 10-year-olds’), the criticism seen above was just the beginning.
“If he can stop being corny and make amends with Jay for watch the throne 2 (which prob won’t happen, Jay doesn’t play that dirty dope head sh*t) I *might* consider… But Id rather collab with Doja Cat than Kanye at this point. She’s making better music than him.”
As of time reported, Cat or Kanye have responded to Azealia’s comments.
