After hitting the ground running with his club anthem ‘Strub the Ground’ (featuring City Girls star Yung Miami), Quavo continues to unveil gems from his forthcoming solo sophomore project – this time lifting the lid on new song ‘Shooters in My Crib.’
Produced by Money Montage, the tune sees the rapper (born Quavious Marshall) reflect on his rise to superstardom and the hurdles he’s had to jump to get there.
“I was patient, now my ice go glacier (Yeah) / I was trapping out the vacant ’till I got some paper (Yeah) / I was looking for the smoke and then I got some straightenin’ (Yeah) / I was out there chasin’ dreams ’cause they thought I couldn’t make it (Yeah),” he spits on the song chorus.
As music lovers prepare for the long-awaited follow-up to his solo debut, 2018’s ‘Quavo Huncho,’ look inside to hear ‘Shooters’ and peep its accompanying music video.
