As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to rage on, it has forced yet another music superstar to cancel a planned tour.
This time around, Rina Sawayama has been forced to cancel her European tour, but she did promise new music will be arriving soon.
More details below…
Taking to Twitter, she said:
“European Pixels I’ve got some sad news. Due to the ongoing restrictions resulting from the recent COVID surge, I’m having to cancel all my European dates in March this year. I was so excited to come play for you all, so this is hugely disappointing. But I’ll be heading to the EU again soon with a bigger show and new music.”

The sold-out tour was slated to begin on March 19 with a stop in Paris before completing a track across the European territories. She did not say if there was a planned tour of the United States as of reporting.
The news comes as the two-year anniversary of her acclaimed ‘Sawayama’ albums draws near. However, new music is in the near future as Charli XCX has teased a collaboration between the two of them, which is set to appear on Charli’s album due out in March.
