With mere days to go until she takes the stage at the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show, Mary J. Blige is already declaring it one of the most significant events in music history.

Speaking to ‘Good Morning America’ about what fans can expect, she said:
“Man this thing is the most epic thing in music, like in hip-hop, R&B history, this is — man L.A. is never ever gonna be the same. I watched the rehearsals — watching each person’s performance, I had goosebumps watching it.”
“Just know this. It’s some history, man. It’s a celebration how far you know hip-hop has come, how far R&B has come, how far you know just you know, music and our culture.”
Blige will be one of the many performers at this year’s Super Bowl. She will also be joined by Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Kendrick Lamar.
However, prior to her taking the stage, she will be releasing her ‘Good Morning Gorgeous’ album on February 11. The album will feature Anderson .Paak, Fivio Foreign, Dave East, and Usher.
