After collecting a GRAMMY for the 2019 hit single ‘Say So,’ singer-songwriter PJ Morton reunites with powerhouse songstress JoJo with hopes of scoring a redo.
The new song, titled ‘My Peace,’ was released Friday (February 18) and features Mr. Talkbox.
Featuring an instrumental arrangement reminiscent of Outkast’s ‘SpottieOttieDopaliscious,’ ‘Peace’ talks about the importance of self-care in romantic relationships. Speaking on the heart-tugging tune, Morton said:
“I wanted to write a song that was a duet and gave two perspectives, but wasn’t necessarily about a relationship. I think after going through so much these last couple of years, many people really got down to what’s truly important. And most realized that nothing is worth their peace.”

Great song. It’ll have zero impact on the top 100 but that doesn’t take away from the fact that its good music. It just isnt in line with what the kids are feeling and thats absolutely fine.
When has any PJ Morton song ever impacted the Hot 100? It doesn’t even matter because he’s more talented than 99% of these mainstream “Artists”. He’s also a multiple Grammy award winner.
