‘Step by Step’ singers New Kids on the Block are stepping back into the 80’s and bringing some of their classic contemporaries along for the ride!
Ahead of the May 10 kickoff of their ‘Mixtape Tour’ alongside En Vogue, Salt-N-Pepa, and Rick Astley, the quintet lead their fellow hitmakers on the throwback-inspired single ‘Bring Back the Time.’
An ode to the heyday of music video, the four acts spoof and tribute some of the decade’s most memorable music videos including Robert Palmer‘s ‘Addicted to Love,’ Toni Basil‘s ‘Mickey,’ Devo‘s ‘Whip It,’ and so many more.
The loads of laughs await inside.
Loved this! Salt n Peppa messed it up though
No they didn’t. It was perfect with the tone of the song.
I don’t like how En Vogue was just basically backup vocals.
This song is super nostalgic. I see it hitting the charts and radio.
Yes I would have loved more En Vogue vocals. They are just backup singers here, it’s not enough. The song could have been more a duet between NKOTB and En Vogue, I think…
Or replace Salt and Pepa ‘s part by a big bridge sung by EV
But it’ s a fun song
Nah….
My ears are bleeding after hearing that 🗑
Looks like they had fun and they captured the sound and imagery of the 80s
