After spending most of her music career penning Gold and Platinum-certified hits for a number of other artists, Muni Long can finally boast doing so for herself thanks to the ongoing success of her latest single, ‘Hrs & Hrs.’

On March 4, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) took to press to announce Long’s breakout single ‘Hrs & Hrs’ had clocked enough sales and streams to be certified Gold. The measure signifies sales equivalence of 500,000 in the United States alone.
Already a milestone for the songstress as it’s her first Hot 100 top 20 hit as a performer (#16 peak), the ‘Public Displays of Affection’-found cut also comes as her RIAA-certified hit as a performer.
