The Weeknd is not holding back.
After a fake tracklist surfaced online, which claimed to be the original to his ‘Dawn FM’ album, he is now clearing the air.
More details below…
The fake tracklist a handwritten list of 19 songs that were supposedly intended for the album’s “original” version. The list of features includes everyone from Ariana Grande to Ty Dolla Sign and Kali Uchis. Taking to Twitter, he dispelled any rumors that these artists were set to feature on the album.
“I love every single one of these artists, but this is beyond fake. XO.”

‘Dawn FM’ was released in January of this year and did feature guest appearances from Tyler, the Creator and Lil Wayne. The album served as the follow-up to his lauded ‘After Hours’ album from 2020, which contained the massive hits ‘Blinding Lights’ and ‘Save Your Tears.’
‘Dawn FM’ debuted and peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart after earning 148,000 units in its first week of release.
This is what I call a strategy to promote an album. Wouldn’t they do anything for clout?
Flop
Who cares. The albums sucks. Maybe he should consider changing the entire track list
What’s a good album that dropped this year? Genuinely curious about your immaculate taste for music
