‘I Like It’ hitmaker Cardi B has made clear she doesn’t like when people misrepresent aspects of her past, especially as it relates to her stint as an exotic dancer.
As we reported in 2019, Cardi was the center of controversy when a video surfaced of her openly admitting to drugging and robbing men years prior. Though she later clarified the moves were made as survival tactics and not maliciously, it still didn’t stop critics from comparing her to the likes of Bill Cosby and other celebrities peddled with sexual assault claims.
While murmurs and jokes about Cardi’s confession had cooled, they resurfaced this week when the GRAMMY winner took to Twitter to spread awareness for sexual assault victims.
In return, she became the victim of slams from a number of detractors who felt her statements were ironic. Look inside to see how she responded.
Weeks after slamming her own fans and deactivating her Twitter account, Cardi was embroiled in yet another debacle following its reinstatement.
As seen above, the Rap diva’s attempt to shine a light on April being Sexual Assault Awareness Month backfired after critics weighed in on her past of drugging and robbing men.
Tired of the hoopla, she took to Instagram to hit back (as captured by our friends at TNT).
Look below to see what she said.
Cardi is PROBLEMATIC!!!
When is this Woman NOT involved in some drama….

Cardi B touched me in a very bad place after she served me a drink. As a slipped into a drug coma and felt my wallet slip away, I heard a mannish clown laughing that wasn’t r*pist loving Nicki Minaj, it was actually Cardi B who now wants to prove she loves r*pe and terrorizing victims more than Nicki. Don’t worry, Nicki will ALWAYS be the queen of that stuff…
