DaBaby‘s legal woes have worsened because the rapper has been formally charged with felony battery.

TMZ reports that the embattled MC has to face the allegations made against him by a man who says he was beaten down by the star while on his own property.
Gary Pagar, the man at the center of the claim, says he was left with serious injuries (including a smashed tooth) following the December 2021 incident.
It’s claimed that Pagar rented his LA mansion out to the Hip-Hop performer and made clear that the rules were that no more than 12 people could be at the residence at one time. He says not only was that agreement flouted by DaBaby and his crew, but upon visiting one day he noted the presence of over 40 people and a full film crew shooting a music video.
According to Pagar, that’s when the drama escalated.
In trying to talk to DaBaby into shutting down the production, a member of his entourage allegedly dragged the elderly man. And while the ‘Rockstar’ lyricist at first tried to stop the chaos, he’s accused of pouring fuel on it by sucker-punching Pagar himself.
DaBaby wasn’t the only individual charged. Thankgod Awute has been charged with felony robbery.
The criminal charges follow Pagar’s lawsuit, which was filed in February of this year.
Suffice to say, this adds to the rapidly growing list of negative headlines trailing the rapper.
Just last week DaBaby was filmed fighting his own artist. There was also a similar attack on the brother of his ex Dani-Leigh on the heels of his ill-treatment of the R&B singer online.
He also shot at an intruder at his North Carolina home this month, prompting police to rush to the scene.
All of which follows the fallout from the homophobic and anti-AIDS rant at Rolling Loud Miami last year.
