Chart-topper Harry Styles steadily strutting toward the release of his third solo album, ‘Harry’s House.’
Due May 20, the set has been mobilized by an all-out promotional campaign – which has included a headlining spot at Coachella 2022.
The latest stop on the press trail is Better Homes & Gardens magazine, an apt tie-in with the LP’s theme.
As well as posing it up for a striking feature spread lensed by Tim Walker, the former One Direction star seized the interview to open up about both sex and sexuality. Specifically his sexuality – which has been at the center of speculation from some corners of the internet.
Styles’ words await below…
Speaking candidly, the GRAMMY winner said:
“For a long time, it felt like the only thing that was mine was my sex life. I felt so ashamed about it, ashamed at the idea of people even knowing that I was having sex, let alone who with.”
He continued:
“At the time, there were still the kiss-and-tell things. Working out who I could trust was stressful. But I think I got to a place where I was like, why do I feel ashamed? I’m a 26-year-old man who’s single; it’s like, yes, I have sex.”
On speculation about his sexuality, the performer concluded:
“I’ve been really open with it with my friends, but that’s my personal experience; it’s mine. Hhe whole point of where we should be heading, which is toward accepting everybody and being more open, is that it doesn’t matter, and it’s about not having to label everything, not having to clarify what boxes you’re checking.”
The June issue of Better Homes Gardens, featuring Styles, hits newsstands on May 13.
Diva believes 80% of men had experience with their own kind. They just won’t tell you💅🏾
This is a marketing ploy. He’s intentionally being ambiguous not because he’s gay, but because he wants people to think that he might be. He knows that some of the greats, which he obviously fashions himself after, were a bit androgynous and all inclusive (Prince, Bowie, Freddy Mu etc.).
He did it during the Lights Up single campaign, I wish these straight artists would stop pandering so much just to sell records, it’s really tacky
This!
Most of them are NOT in relationships w/ Men, which should be the Criteria for identifying as “gay”. They simply want benefits that come w/ being LGBTQ OR any other benefits that are currently available.
They are taken away opportunities from Men whom are actually “gay” & have gone through struggles.
You’re 100% accurate. He’s playing for press.
Or he’s really is attracted to all genders and doesn’t want to label and you’re just needlessly harrassing a q**** man.
We won’t believe it until we see him with a d*** in his mouth
Pure facts.
As my girl in s** and the city says… “that’s great darling… but if you don’t eat p***y, you’re not a d**e.”
All this chat he’s doing is to sell records.
He’s so full of s***
He is straight.
If he actually owned his sexuality he would share exactly what it was.
The is a marketing ploy and his team capitalizing on the mystery of his sexuality.
He has, you’re just not listening.
Oh puhleeze. Why can’t he just say, yes I’m gay or straight or bi? Instead he’s trying to be mysterious so he can keep playing up this “sexually ambiguous “ mess
Sounds like hers trysexual, he’ll try anything once!
gosh aren’t you tired of this facade? you already made a career for yourself please drop the “I only f*** cougars but I’m q**** cause I wear nail polish and a dress” act it’s not the statement you think it is and it’s just pathetic and annoying.
Its noones business why should you have to talk about it if you want to keep your s** life a secret then so you should good on ya harryxx
