Per the Official Charts Company, ‘As It Was’ is now set to spend a fourth week at #1 in the UK. If it manages to hold its lead, then it will continue its streak as his longest-running #1 single in the country.
Previously, he scored only one other #1 single as a solo artist in the UK. His song ‘Sign of the Times’ became his first #1 single upon its debut and spent one week at the summit.
‘As it was’ is the first taste of new music from Styles’ upcoming ‘Harry’s House’ album, due out May 20. It will be his first album since 2019’s ‘Fine Line,’ which housed the hits ‘Lights Up,’ ‘Watermelon Sugar,’ and ‘Adore You.’
